    For 3-octave Handbell Choir and Dulcimer

    Virginia’s arrangement of the carol starts with one verse of the Basque carol Gabriel’s Message. This 13th century carol’s text includes the account of the Angel Gabriel telling Mary, Jesus’ mother, that she is about to conceive. The song switches to the carol Ding! Dong! Merrily on High!‍ ‍to rejoice about what God has done.

  • Fire's Dance

    This melancholy piece reflects the shimmering and dancing movements of open flames. It’s dramatic melody is reminiscent of Arabian music and is punctuated by a shake and martello technique.
