Virginia’s arrangement of this well known hymn highlights the deep set emotions of the lyrics. There is quiet reflection in the verses before raising to a peak in the chorus with the words: “Lest I forget thy love for me.” Filled with reflection, this simple arrangement, provides a different take on the rich text.
